when the rubber meets the road... what will you believe?
just to be very real... things havn't been going so great financially these few months... just today, i had to lend someone a huge sum(well, at least to someguy that hasnt bought any sch txtbooks, and hasnt paid his sch fees...)
and this isnt the first time i've been faced with the scenario that i could be on the verge of slipping into "poverty" where sometimes, you just wonder where the money to buy that next meal's gonna come from...
but hey... as i was strolling around school before cg started, i was just prompted so strongly by the Spirit to just sit down and open my sword...
and what jumped out to me... was Romans 5:17 and 18...
that i had the FREE GIFT of the ABUNDANCE of grace!!!
i've been playing this game of "chicken" sowing with Daddy ever since the last lap of "poverty" i experienced... and i don't intend to stop...
that game is what brought me out of that last lap... because my price had been paid by Jesus...
He didn't even have any clothes on the cross... not even a loincloth...
i can say, i'm rich! and i am... my bank account may disagree... but hey... i AM rich... sometimes, things may seem to be overwhelming... and it's true... i've been to the point where i wonder... what i'm going to eat tomorrow... if fact... how on earth i'm even going to go to school? there was a point where i didnt even have cash to take the bus to school! but you know what?
every time... somehow... the supply would suddenly just come...
and it won't just come... it POURS down on me so much that i could go on a spending spree, bless others, and still have more than enough...
you know why? because, the bible says, that ALL that belonged to my Father is MINE!!!!!
when the rubber meets the road, what will you believe?
sometimes, it may be so hard to let go, and it's a very real thing...
but the things of God, are so much more real than the things that you and i may see...
and i believe that my God HAS not only pulled me thru... but carried me all the way!!
watched Star Wars Ep III today!!
to the true SW fan, there's just something really precious about watching the prologue come on, and hearing John Williams' famous composition as the words "a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away..." come up on screen.
It's like, you're there man... in 1977... watching A New Hope show in your nearby "rex" cinema... Something i would never experience...
Ok yeah, there was the redone trilogy, but watching that would never compare to what it must have felt to the then "to be" SW fans in 1977...
Ep III was really well done man... far better than the first 2 episodes... of course, it would never be able to be compared to the original trilogy, but... hey, it was really good...
there were a few changes btw... which only someone who actually knew the extended universe series of books would be able to pinpoint... but, nevertheless... just beautiful
ahh whatever... just go watch it... the moment the tickets actually start being on sale... (most of them are kinda already booked)
I'm gonna watch it again on saturday!! wooh!! yes yes i admit... i'm nuts over SW...
but you have to admit that it RAWKS!!!! *haha*

I see love...
Some see a teacher
Standing on a hill
Speaking words of wisdom
Some see a healer
Reaching out his hand
To give sight to a blind man
Some see a dreamer
Wasting his life
On what can never be
Some see a fool
Dying for his dreams
But I see love (I see love)
I see love (I see love)
Light of heaven breaking through
Well I see grace (I see grace)
I see God's face (See Gods face)
Shining pure and perfect love
When I see you
I see love
Some see a prisoner
Alone before his judge
With no one to defend him
Some see a victim
Beaten and abused
With all the world against him
Some see a martyr
Carrying his cross
For what he believes
Some see a hero
Who set his people free
But I see love (I see love)
I see love (I see love)
Light of heaven breaking through
Well I see grace (I see grace)
I see God's face (See Gods face)
Shining pure and perfect love
When I see you
With your last breath
I see love
Through your death
I see love
I see peace in the eyes of a King
I see hope in your suffering (I see love)
I see a calm in the center of the storm
I see a Saviour
I see love
I see love
Light of heaven breaking through (heaven breaking through)
I see grace
I see God's face
Shining pure and perfect love
When I see you
I see love
When I see you
I see heaven breaking through
See Gods face
Shining pure and perfect love
When I see you
When I see you
When I see you
I see love
I see love
When I see
Some see Him walking from an empty grave
