Just came back from camp once again!! ITE East Leaders Camp...
and i'm telling you ppl out there... stop stereotyping ite students... coz if you ask me... compared to the students that i've taught from JCs and Poly's, ITE students are worlds apart... not worse, but better.

the first day of camp was already a blast... right after icebreakers, the group was already beginning to gel...

and throughout the camp, not only did they learn and absorb leadership skills to the point where i got totally sucked dry *never happened before in any other ldrship camp* , they gelled and bonded closer than any of the other grps in the camp!
In the end, even the best instructors will fail when the students don't co-operate... but my entire group did... totally...

They came into the camp, just as students, but they left, as leaders...

Overall, the camp was totally awesome... we even had a mini chionging session right after campfire...
although my group didnt win the "best group" prize, *because they already won the amazing race prize*
quoting nurul, "to me, we're the winners in this camp"
and i'm sure everyone in the group would agree

John, Valerie, Nurul, Nuraidah, Bear, Kiat, Salad, Hariss, Amru, YY, Jack, Zoo... and the rest of you guys, If you manage to stumble onto this blog,
You guys made me really really proud... and I want you to know, that you will become better leaders than even I am...
Don't give up on your dreams... persevere... make the team catch phrase "to the grave", really mean it... just like the story i told u guys on the last day... don't let your dreams follow you to the grave. but rather, dig them up now... and live your dreams.
You guys wanna become hair stylists, go to the university, start businesses, become great dancers, become plastic surgeons...
Those dreams are not impossible... the road to them may be hard... but dreams are made to be lived out... dreams are made to become reality...

go get them!
